Potty Training at Its Best(?) Worst(?)

Okay, so we're on about week 4 of potty training boot camp and it's going really well. The last week and a half, we have used diapers only for sleeping times.

So today after lunch Thomas and I were downtown with our friends Jennifer and Mark. The idea was to let the boys "explore" for about 45 minutes, find a good place to let them use the potty, then take them home for naps. Well, about 30 minutes into our explorations, Thomas stops cold in the middle of the sidewalk in downtown Roanoke and announces loudly "I've got to make a pee-pee!" He then proceeds to pull down his pants and pee on the spot.

T'was hard to argue with that kind of urgency. At least he didn't wet his pants....

Horay for Dollywood, Part Deux

As August approached, another trip to Dollywood was in order. Thomas, as ususal, had a blast. It was a bit too hot for me. He again didn't ride the train, but still didn't seem to miss it. However, he did get to ride the merry-go-round a couple times and I took him on some flying elephants. Click on the pic below for the full set.
